Meet Ashley Bouthavong, founder of Flame & Flair Catering Experience, alongside Executive Chef Emrick Immanuel, whose culinary expertise brings each experience to life. With over 15 years of hands-on experience each in the Japanese restaurant industry, their shared passion for food, hospitality, and unforgettable moments runs deep.

Ashley’s journey began at just 16 years old in a Japanese steakhouse in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Starting as a hostess, she worked her way through every level of restaurant operations, eventually becoming a regional director across multiple restaurant groups—building the foundation for what would become Flame & Flair Catering Experience.

Emrick’s culinary path also began at 16 in Kansas City, bussing tables and learning the craft from the ground up. He immersed himself in every aspect of hibachi and sushi preparation, mastering the techniques, flavors, and showmanship that now define Flame & Flair. Today, as Executive Chef, he oversees menu development, signature sauces and the culinary execution behind every experience.

Together, they bring elevated, interactive food experiences beyond restaurant walls—offering everything from high-energy hibachi and hands-on sushi classes to thoughtfully curated menus designed to travel.
